The World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned that up to 60,000 people in Zimbabwe could become infected with cholera if the epidemic is not checked.
The WHO said the number of cases in the country is rising because of a lack of safe drinking water and medical facilities.At least 589 people have been killed by cholera and there are almost 14,000 known cases of the disease.
